My First Workshop Projects

I hosted my very first, very successful workshop last week and I wanted to share the two projects that we made.

The first was an 8x8 layout.

Products used: Basic Black cs, Patterns Designer Series Paper- Regals (we used the Always Artichoke sheets), Originals die – Circles #2 (we used the 2 ½  & 2” circles), a non-SU 2 ⅜” punch,  Top Note die, 2-Step Bird Punch (for the branch), Pocket Silhouettes stamp set, Classic Ink Pads in Basic Black & Always Artichoke, Stampin’ Dimensionals, sanding block.

The second project was a 4 ¼ x 5 ½ card.

Products used:  Whisper White cs, Old Olive cs, Decorative Label Punch, 2-Step Bird punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, For All You Do stamp set, Polka Dot embossing folder, Classic Ink Pad – Old Olive, and some miscellaneous patterned paper.

In completing both projects I tried to highlight to key things. First I wanted to highlight that stamps are not just for cards. They can be used to create beautiful embellishments for your scrapbooking page (demonstrated by the stamped circles on the page). Secondly, I wanted my guests to experience the ease of using Stampin’ Up punches in direct comparison to another brand stamp. On the layout we used a miscellaneous circle punch and then on the card we used the 2-Step Bird, the Decorative Label and the Scallop Trim Border punches so they could compare the difference.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the projects. They were simple but highlighted some key Stampin’ Up products.

I can’t wait to get my order so I can start playing with some more products and see what I can create and share.

Thanks for visiting!
